Basil Read Development have commenced with the installation of roads and services on the first phase of their new development to be known as Klipriver Business Park. The Park will unlock the growth of the R59 corridor a pivotal spine between Johannesburg, Ekhurhuleni, Meyerton and the Vaal Triangle also with easy access to the N3 highway.

It is strategically positioned on the R59 and R550 interchange with a railway line adjacent to the development, running parallel to the R59 from Germiston through Meyerton to Vereeniging.
The node already accommodates companies such as Nampak, Everite and the new multibillion rand Heineken Brewery development. Basil Read’s soon to be commenced,  Savanna City development, which will provide 20 000 affordable units in a sustainable town is situated only 10 km away and will be a complimentary development.


Klipriver Business Park is zoned for light industrial and commercial purposes with development controls promoting Basil Read’s green project principles.
It will be fully fenced with security and access control.
The first phase of 56 hectares located in the south western quadrant of the interchange on track to be serviced and proclaimed by August 2009. Sites for sale or development range from 4,000 m² to 10 hectares.
